Afghan al-Qaeda ‘plotting’ another 9/11?

by Anthony Wile, The Daily Bell:

The UK Telegraph is reporting that “Al-Qaeda fighters have returned to Afghanistan and will use the country as a base to launch September 11-style attacks on Western cities.”

This gem has been launched – like a lead balloon – by the American ambassador to Kabul, Ryan Crocker. The Afghan war is simply not going well for the US and NATO and the rhetoric seems increasingly self-serving.

The idea, apparently, at the State Department is that support for the war can be increased by reminding Americans they’re at risk. But after a decade of war and a trillion dollars in military expenditures, weariness has set in.

This is a dominant social theme of sorts, in my view, a fear-based promotion. The power elite that apparently wants to run the world has long regarded Afghanistan as an important piece of the puzzle.

The idea is to frighten the American public into regarding the war, even after all this time, as absolutely necessary to the “safety” of the US regime and its citizens at home and abroad.

In reality, the elites seek to pacify “the navel of the world” – people and places that have rarely come under the full control of outside forces or alien invaders. But if one wants global government, every part of the planet must be pacified. Afghanistan is at the top of the list.

Drone Strike Kills Four in Pakistan

JOE WOLVERTON, II
New American
April 1, 2012

About 3 a.m. local time, two Hellfire missiles were fired by a U.S. Predator Drone at a house in Pakistan on Friday morning, killing four people suspected of being members of al-Qaeda or the Taliban.

The target of Friday’s strike was a building in Miranshah, the largest town in the North Waziristan area, designated by the U.S. government as a compound in use by the Taliban and al-Qaeda. Eyewitnesses report that the missiles caused a fire that destroyed the entire structure.

Early reports indicate that three alleged “militants” were killed by the drone, while four others were wounded, one or more of whom was a foreigner. Statements made by anonymous agents of the Pakistani government indicate that the missiles destroyed the house while those inside were asleep.

Although Pakistan has called on the United States to cease the drone attacks within that country, the Obama administration has ignored this request. In fact, the number of drones in the air, missiles fired by them, and the body count all continue increasing exponentially under orders issued by Barack Obama.

The government of Pakistan castigates its erstwhile ally for the prosecution of the Predator program, calling it an overt attack on the country’s sovereignty. However, other credible reports from inside the government indicate that while the official stance of Pakistan is to denounce the attacks, behind the scenes they have taken another tack — allowing drones to launch from Pakistani airbases and providing intelligence to help track targets.

Pakistan’s cooperative posture might be slouching lately, however, after the death of two Pakistani soldiers deployed along that nation’s border with Afghanistan. In all, at least 24 Pakistani soldiers have been killed by drones deployed in American airstrikes. Pakistan responded by shutting down the pipeline of NATO materiel that runs through the country, as well as booting the United States and its Predator drones off of an airbase in the southwest region of the country.

The move proved to be little more than an inconvenience, as the base was used by the United States only to repair planes and Predators damaged in Afghanistan. For Pakistan, though, the opposition is likely indicative of a more long-term policy shift. In fact, the nation’s parliament is now embroiled in lengthy debates about their support for the drone program going forward.

On Thursday, officials of the government of Pakistan called for talks with the United States to commence before the debates in parliament are wrapped up.

French Terror Attack: All the Hallmarks of an Intelligence Psy-op and False Flag

Kurt Nimmo

March 21, 2012

Mohammed Merah, the suspect in the killing of seven people outside a Jewish school in Toulouse, France, fits the pattern of an al-Qaeda intelligence asset. According to the BBC, he was on the radar of French authorities because of visits he made to Afghanistan and the “militant stronghold” of Waziristan in Pakistan.

More specifically, Merah was handled by France’s DCRI intelligence service “for years,” according to Claude Guéant, the interior minister.

Merah, a French citizen of Algerian origin, was arrested on December 19, 2007, and was sentenced to three years in jail for planting bombs in the southern province of Kandahar in Afghanistan.

In April of 2011, the United States admitted it has operated secret military prisons in Afghanistan where suspected terrorists are held and interrogated without charges.

The notorious Bagram airbase detention center is operated by the Joint Special Operations Command and the DIA’s Defense Counterintelligence and Human Intelligence Center (DCHC).

The DCHC “will be responsible for developing an ‘offensive counterintelligence operations’… capability for the Department of Defense, which may entail efforts to penetrate, deceive and disable foreign intelligence activities directed against U.S. forces,” Secrecy News reported in 2008 after the government announced the creation of DCHC.

The Pentagon and the CIA specialize in creating terrorists as part of a so-called covert and unconventional war doctrine dating back to the end of the Second World War (see Michael McClintock’s Instruments of Statecraft: U.S. Guerilla Warfare, Counterinsurgency, and Counterterrorism, 1940-1990 for an in-depth examination).

Mohammed Merah called France 24 before shootings.

Although virtually ignored by the corporate media, it is an established fact that the CIA and Pakistani intelligence created what is now known as al-Qaeda out of the remnants of the Afghan mujahideen following the CIA’s covert three billion dollar war against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan.

It was the so-called Safari Club – organized under the CIA and with the participation of intelligence agencies in France, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and (under the Shah) Iran – that ramped up the largely contrived threat of international terrorism prior to and during the CIA’s manufactured war in Afghanistan (see Peter Dale Scott, Launching the U.S. Terror War: the CIA, 9/11, Afghanistan, and Central Asia).

Intelligence agencies have specialized in the covert – and not so covert – creation of terrorists which are then used to provide a cynical raison d’être for launching military intervention around the world and also providing a pretext to build and expand a domestic surveillance police state.

A textbook example of this process is the Christmas Day, 2009, underwear bomber fiasco – subsequently exposed as a false flag event – that was exploited to push for installing dangerous radiation-emitting naked body porno scanners at U.S. airports.

The fact Mohammed Merah was in the custody of the Joint Special Operations Command in Afghanistan – and his supposed jail break at the Sarposa Prison was reportedly orchestrated by the Taliban (also cretaed by the CIA and Pakistan’s ISI) – certainly raises questions about the attack in France, where a national election will soon be held.

The Telegraph reports that the attacks of the supposedly al-Qaeda connected Merah will play into the election bid of National Front candidate Marine Le Pen, who is unlikely to ever become the president of France.

It has, however, provided Nicholas Sarkozy with a pretext to put the southern part of the nation on high alert and cancel the campaigns of presidential contenders. Sarkozy stands to benefit from the terror attacks and play the role of a strong leader during a national crisis.

“In the short term it is likely that President Nicolas Sarkozy will benefit. Very quickly he took charge. He rushed to the scene. He suspended his campaign. He spoke as the president of the republic,” writes Gavin Hewitt for the BBC.

Navy Exercise Trains Military to Deal with Soldiers Who Go Postal After Multiple Tours of Duty

Exercise Solid Curtain/Citadel Shield 2012 is now underway around the country on 44 Navy installations. Navy officialdom explains that the “annual exercise is designed to enhance the training and readiness of Navy security forces to respond to threats to installations and units,” reports KAPS 660AM in Mount Vernon, Washington.

Naval anti-terrorism exercise underway: wavy.com

“The Exercise Plan requires full implementation and sustainment of elevated force protection conditions for at least 48 hours and is anticipated to be from about 12 p.m. on Thursday, March 22 to 12 p.m. Saturday, March 24,” reports TheBayNet.

WAVY-TV 10 in Norfolk, Virginia, reports that the Navy conducted “chilling scenarios” at Joint Expeditionary Base Little-Creek Fort Story in Hampton Roads on Monday.

One scenario involved a military person who went ballistic after serving numerous tours of duty in Afghanistan. “During Monday’s training scenario, an American sailor has turned his weapon against his shipmates and is threatening the security of the harbor,” WAVY-10 reports today.

WAVY-10 cites the murder of civilians in Afghanistan, allegedly by a U.S. soldier, and notes “the stress of combat can be overwhelming and lead to bizarre and violent behavior.”

“At a time when service members are being asked to serve multiple deployments, preparing for this type of scenario is become increasingly more important.”

Soldiers freaking out after numerous tours of duty is now apparently considered terrorism by the government. Solid Curtain-Citadel Shield 2012 is billed as an anti-terrorism exercise.

Otherwise, it is business as usual in America now that we are told we must endure these exercises – attack helicopters flying overhead and (as in the above video) machine guns rattling – for the foreseeable future (because the war on terror is endless).

“Measures have been taken to minimize disruptions to normal base and station operations, but there may be times when the exercise causes increased traffic around bases or delays in base access. Area residents may also see increased security activity associated with the exercise,” notes DCMilitary.com.

In other words, the exercise will also serve to acclimate the public – as have numerous previous exercises – to the idea that it is really quite normal to have the military running around in combat gear and acting as if the country has been attacked by al-Qaeda, or short of that one of their own who has freaked out after witnessing the horrors of Afghanistan or Iraq a half dozen times or more.

Taliban Promise Revenge for Civilian Murders in Afghanistan

Kurt Nimmo

The Taliban has called for revenge following the massacre of 16 civilians in the Panjwai district of Kandahar Province in southern Afghanistan, allegedly by a U.S. soldier on a rampage. The Taliban posted a message on their website denouncing the “barbaric actions” of “sick-minded American savages” and said they would seek revenge.

“Is there any military … in the entire world which gives legality for unstable persons to be armed and drafted into the military and then be given the duty of so-called peacekeeping?” the group asked.

The Afghan Parliament has also called for immediate action. “We urge the United States government to punish the culprits and put them on trial in an open court so that the rest of those who want to shed our innocent people’s blood take a lesson from it,” a statement read.

The latest incident follows the burning of the Koran at Bagram airfield by U.S. soldiers. The desecration of the Islamic holy book led to violent protests and resulted in the removal of hundreds of foreign advisers from Afghan ministries following the fatal reprisal shooting of two American officers.

Afghans were also outraged by a video showing American soldiers urinating on the dead bodies of Taliban fighters.

Some Afghans insist the as of yet named soldier did not act alone and say other troops were involved in the massacre.

A senior American military official told the New York Times the sergeant accused in the killings was attached to a unit based at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, a major Army and Air Force installation near Tacoma, Washington. He was part of a “village stabilization operation” conducted by Green Berets, although the soldier in question was reportedly not a Green Beret.

Angelia Jolie openly works for the UN and CFR pushing globalist wars under the cover of humanitarian intervention.

Drunk on the blood of Iraq, Libya, Syria, Afghanistan and scores of other nations Jolie is now pushing military invasion to “help” Africa. She and her masters know full well that they are carrying out destabilization operations in the 3rd world so population can be reduced and resources stolen.

We need to call a spade a spade, this is part of a new branding rollout to launch a AFRICOM take over of Africa. This constitutes a crime against humanity and Jolie is a party to it and needs to be arrested along with other globalist that are using left cover to widen globalist empire.

The problem is you can’t go to the UN because it is at the center of the corporate global government takeover, the people are asleep and wars are being launched against innocents in the name of a bleeding heat liberal agenda. THEY COME IN PEACE!

Globalists Plan to Stay in Afghanistan Forever

Kurt Nimmo
Infowars.com
August 20, 2011

Ben Farmer, writing for The Telegraph on Friday, reported that the U.S. and Afghanistan have reached an agreement that would allow American special forces and air force to remain in the country until 2024. The agreement arrives as the United States claims it will pack up and leave by the end of 2014.

In December of 2009, during a speech delivered at West Point, Obama said troops would begin leaving Afghanistan. Prior to the speech, the Pentagon said it would send an additional 30,000 troops as part of a “mini-surge.” NATO was asked to send between 5,000 and 10,000 troops as part of an international force. In early 2010, the Pentagon increased substantially its “new civilian forces” outside of Kabul, according to ABC News.

Afghanistan’s hand-picked president, Hamid Karzai, confirmed earlier this year that the United States plans to establish permanent bases in his country. “Yes they want this (permanent bases) and we have been negotiating with them,” Karzai said at a press conference in his presidential palace in February. “We believe that a long-term relationship with the United States is in the interest of Afghanistan.”

The deal was negotiated without the participation or approval of the Afghan parliament or the grand tribal council known as the Loya Jirga.

The plan announced last week was peddled as part of the effort to train the Afghan military and police. “If [the Americans] provide us weapons and equipment, they need facilities to bring that equipment,” said Rangin Dadfar Spanta, Karzai’s top security adviser. “If they train our police and soldiers, then those trainers will not be 10 or 20, they will be thousands.”

The continued U.S. presence at numerous bases in Afghanistan is central to the generational war planned to fight against so-called international terrorism, itself a creation of U.S. and British intelligence. “We know we will be confronted with international terrorists. 2014, is not the end of international terrorist networks and we have a common commitment to fight them. For this purpose also, the US needs facilities,” said Spanta.

Andrey Avetisyan, Russian ambassador to Kabul, told The Telegraph permanent U.S. bases should not be required. “I don’t understand why such bases are needed. If the job is done, if terrorism is defeated and peace and stability is brought back, then why would you need bases?” he asked. “If the job is not done, then several thousand troops, even special forces, will not be able to do the job that 150,000 troops couldn’t do. It is not possible.”

The deal is designed to continue the engineered conflict in Afghanistan. The Taliban have said they will not negotiate peace with the government in Kabul until all U.S. troops have left the country. According to Abdul Hakim Mujahid, deputy leader of the “peace” council set up by Karzai to seek a settlement with the Taliban, the deal to keep a substantial number of U.S. troops in the country will intensify the insurgency.

In 2010, Pakistani president Asif Ali Zardari said the Taliban was created by the CIA and ISI, the Pakistan intelligence agency. He also said the Pentagon is orchestrating Taliban attacks.

Most Afghans believe the U.S. is funding and supporting the Taliban in order to continue the war and occupation of their country. “The US uses Israel to threaten the Arab states, and they want to make Afghanistan into the same thing,” a highly educated Afghan professional told The Guardian in May of 2010. “Whoever controls Asia in the future, controls the world.”

For more detail, see Afghans: U.S. Created and Funds Taliban.

Jimmy Carter’s national security adviser and Rockefeller globalist Zbigniew Brzezinski argued in his book, The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy and Its Geostrategic Imperatives, that controlling Eurasia is essential to the global pre-eminence of the elite. “It is imperative that no Eurasian challenger emerges capable of dominating Eurasia and thus of also challenging America,” he writes (by “America,” Brzezinski means the global elite represented by the CFR and the Trilateral Commission).

The Taliban originated from from Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-run religious schools for Afghan refugees in Pakistan following the CIA’s war against the Soviet Union. Selig Harrison from the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars has admitted that the CIA created the Taliban. Harrison is an expert on Asian affairs and has had extensive contact with the CIA and political leaders in South Asia. He is closely aligned with the globalists through the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

The anti-Soviet Mujahideen that provided recruits for the Taliban was aided by the CIA, a fact admitted by its former director, Robert Gates. The secret plan to create the Mujahideen prior to the invasion of the country was “was an excellent idea,” according to Brzezinski. “What is most important to the history of the world? The Taliban or the collapse of the Soviet empire? Some stirred-up Moslems or the liberation of Central Europe and the end of the cold war?” he told Le Nouvel Observateur in 1998.

The Pentagon will not leave Afghanistan in 2024. It plans to stay there forever and operate as a “muscle-man for Big Business, for Wall Street and for the Bankers,” as former Marine Major General Smedley Butler said in 1933, referring to his work for them in the Philippines, China, and Latin America.

Obama Expected To Announce Major Afghanistan Troop Reduction

Julie Pace
Associated Press
June 21, 2011

President Barack Obama will move the United States a step closer to ending the war in Afghanistan when he announces plans Wednesday to bring thousands of American troops home, beginning next month.

Administration officials said the president was still in the final phase of a decision-making process that has focused not only on how many troops will come home in July, but also on a broader withdrawal blueprint designed to put the U.S. on a path toward giving Afghans control of their security by 2014.

Obama was given a range of options for the withdrawal last week by Gen. David Petraeus, the top U.S. and NATO commander in Afghanistan. The military favors a gradual reduction in troops but other advisers are advocating a significant decrease in the coming months.
