U.S./NATO to Incite War with Iran in September/October 2012

Published August 16, 2012 | By

Lindsey Williams, pastor to the elites, was recently on the Alex Jones show sharing some of the inside information he has about the timeline established by the elites for the purpose of establishing their New World Order. With all of the talk of Nibiru/Planet X and the coming pole shift lately, we have to keep in mind the possibility that the info we’ve been getting regarding those events may have been misinformation designed to keep us distracted from what is really going on. According to Williams, the elites have two primary agendas in the near future. First, they have to reestablish control over the people by inciting war between the United States and Iran. This should lead to an outbreak of World War 3 that will provide the elites with the perfect opportunity to seize upon peoples’ fears and establish their one world government. Secondly, they are also going to devalue the American dollar to destroy the American economy and ensure compliance with the NWO. The standoff in Syria is a prelude to what is taking place behind the scenes. Once the war breaks out, it will provide the perfect opportunity to seize the world’s oil supplies. The value of the world’s currency is relative to the cost of oil. Whoever controls this will control the economic destiny of the other nations of the world. The elites have been holding off the crash of the dollar so that they can buy up all of the debt in the world and turn us all into slaves!

Kony 2012-Style PR Stunt To Sell War On Syria

Documentary to be produced by mercenary who fought with NATO-backed Libyan rebels

Paul Joseph Watson
Infowars.com
Wednesday, August 1, 2012

A mercenary who was previously embedded with U.S. troops and also fought with Libyan rebels is set to produce a documentary film in an effort to propagandize for the invasion of Syria, drawing his inspiration from Kony 2012, the infamous “viral” video that drew widespread criticism for its role in using manipulative techniques to grease the skids for U.S. military intervention in Africa.

33-year-old American Matthew VanDyke is a film maker and war correspondent who was embedded with the U.S. Military in Iraq. In 2011, VanDyke traveled to Libya to fight with NATO-backed rebels, many of whom were members of LIFG, an Al-Qaeda offshoot responsible for killing U.S. troops in Iraq.

VanDyke was subsequently imprisoned by the Libyan regime for nearly six months but managed to escape and aid rebels in overthrowing Colonel Gaddafi and turning Libya, once the richest country in Africa, into a chaotic NATO puppet state run by “out of control” sectarian thugs who have imprisoned, tortured and killed thousands of black Libyans.

Despite his direct aid and support for the LIFG, a group listed as a terrorist organization by the U.S. State Department, VanDyke faced no legal retribution from the U.S. government.

Even as many of the same Al-Qaeda terrorists who fought in Libya and Iraq now flood into Syria to back the insurgency against President Bashar Assad, VanDyke has announced he plans to travel to Syria to “join the rebels on the front line” and film a documentary as part of a “public relations campaign” to “generate an incredible amount of publicity” in creating support for the overthrow of the Syrian government.

Despite the fact that it was vehemently derided as a dumbed-down propaganda stunt which used falsehoods and emotional manipulation to convince viewers, VanDyke unashamedly cites Kony 2012 as his inspiration, noting that the film will be produced and released in the same manner.

As we documented at the time of its release, despite the fact that it used the plight of people in Uganda to push for further U.S. military intervention in AfricaKony 2012 actually enraged Ugandan people who rioted during a screening of the film.

Indeed, the backlash to Kony 2012 grew so intense that it caused director Jason Russell to have a mental breakdown. Footage later emerged of Russell engaged in a drug-fueled naked fit during which he screamed and allegedly masturbated openly on the street.

VanDyke is asking for donations to fund the project, while also canvassing people on Twitter to “Donate to send 2 #Libya fighters to #Syria!” He is trying to raise a minimum of $19,500 but adds that a figure of $100,000 “would allow for a tremendous publicity campaign for the film!”

Just like Kony 2012, VanDyke plans to use happy-clappy emotional manipulation to hoodwink viewers. Despite the fact that rebels have carried out massacres and bombings as well as summary executions of pro-Assad captives, VanDyke plans to portray them in a “very human, moving, and distinctive way.”

Another ironic twist to VanDyke’s urge to help Syrian rebels is the fact that his journalist friend John Cantlie was recently captured by so-called ‘Syrian’ rebels who told him of their plans to bring Shariah law to Syria. In reality, the men were described as “foreign jihadists,” many of whom had English accents and were from Britain, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

It’s also ironic that VanDyke calls himself a Christian, yet he is mobilizing funds to bankroll a pro-Syrian rebel documentary despite the fact that Syrian rebels have ransacked numerous Christian churches.

Despite a massive establishment media public relations campaign implying that Assad’s demise is just around the corner, insurgents are failing to make much progress against government forces in major cities. This is presumably why the military-industrial complex and mercenaries like VanDyke are being called upon to launch a new propaganda offensive aimed at legitimizing a NATO invasion.

While the RAND corporation is now citing the presence of Al-Qaeda fighters put there in the first place by NATO powers as a reason to intervene, VanDyke’s role will be to characterize Syrian rebels as democratic freedom fighters, when in reality they are largely comprised of opportunists and foreign insurgents doing the bidding of NATO in toppling Syria as the next phase of the contrived “Arab spring”.

WikiLeaks releases 2.4 million Syria emails

WikiLeaks has begun publishing more than 2 million emails from Syrian political figures that it says will shed light on the regime’s crackdown on dissent and embarrass Syria’s opponents.

The emails date back to 2006 but also cover the past 16 months, in which thousands have been killed in a bloody crackdown by Syrian president Bashar al-Assad’s forces.

The whistleblowing website says the files will give an insight into how the Assad government operates, and also reveal Western countries and businesses which continue to support Syria.

“They also reveal how the West and Western companies say one thing and do another,” the organisation said.

Read the Syria files.

WikiLeaks says the emails came from Syrian ministries including foreign affairs, finance and presidential affairs.

Australian WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange says the material is embarrassing to Syria, as well as to Syria’s opponents.

“It helps us not merely to criticise one group or another, but to understand their interests, actions and thoughts,” he said in a statement.

“It is only through understanding this conflict that we can hope to resolve it.”

Altogether, the site says it will publish 2,434,899 emails from 680 domains, which it is “statistically confident” are accurate and authentic.

It says there are 678,752 different email addresses involved, and 1,082,447 different recipients.

There are around 400,000 emails in Arabic but also 68,000 emails in Russian.

WikiLeaks says the first files reveal that Italian defence giant Finmeccanica has provided communications equipment to the Syrian regime since the unrest began.

WikiLeaks will not comment on the rest of the material until stories derived from the files are published.

It is not the first time Syrian emails have been leaked.

In March, Britain’s Guardian newspaper published emails which claimed Mr Assad’s wife Asma was spending tens of thousands of pounds on jewellery and fancy furniture amid the bloodshed.

The Syria files are WikiLeaks’ first major publication since it began disclosing internal emails from the US-based intelligence firm Stratfor in February.

WikiLeaks was forced to suspend many of its publishing operations last October after Visa, MasterCard and PayPal refused to continue processing donations to the whistleblowing website.

WikiLeaks’ publication comes amid continued wrangling between world powers about how the bloody conflict in Syria should be tackled.

The revolt, which started with peaceful pro-democracy protests, has turned into a something approaching a civil war as the government’s crackdown triggered an armed uprising.

Rights groups as many as 16,500 people have been killed in the 16-month uprising, while Mr Assad blames the deaths on “terrorist gangs”.

Asylum bid

Meanwhile, Mr Assange remains currently holed up in Ecuador’s embassy in London seeking political asylum.

He is seeking to avoid extradition to Sweden to face questioning on sex abuse allegations.

He denies the allegations, which he says are politically motivated.

WikiLeaks enraged Washington by releasing a flood of classified information and diplomatic cables in 2010, and Mr Assange says America wants to try him for leaking the documents.

Mr Assange fears that once he is in Sweden, the US will seek his extradition.

Even if he is granted asylum in Ecuador, British police say they will arrest him for being in breach of his bail conditions as soon as he sets foot outside the embassy.

Mr Assange was on $315,000 bail, which included the condition he spend nights at home.

Al-Qaida Now Deploying ‘Facebook Terrorism’ in Syria

Patrick Henningsen
Infowars.com
May 25, 2012

As many Americans already know, it’s not uncommon for Facebook to ban certain groups and erase postings on its social network. Reports of Ron Paul supporters and sovereign citizen groups suffering this treatment have unfortunately become a normal occurrence on Facebook, as their big brother behind-the-scenes moderators work overtime in the US to steer political reality into an ever-narrower band of awareness.

A very real and disturbing new trend has taken off in conflict-ridden Syria, where rogue opposition groups, many of whom are already associated with the al-Qaida terrorist brand, are using Facebook to post the names, phone numbers and residential addresses of pro-Assad government supporters. At the end of these posts, the terrorists then leave a note of encouragement for other opposition members to “go and kill them”.

The ramifications of this trend are far-reaching and very dangerous. Domestically in the US, such incidents are normally dealt with via local and federal law enforcement agencies, but in countries like Syria, stopping abuses on the network can be a slower process, and can cost lives. In the fog of chaos, opportunists and criminal are also coming out of the woodwork to settle personal scores, seize property and engage in extortion and kidnapping.

Of course, censors and moderators at Facebook are nowhere to be found, as al-Qaida operatives in Syria are allowed to run rampant on their social network, issuing death threats and calls for cold-blooded murder.

The fact that many of the so-called ‘opposition’ in Syria are being backed with arms and logistics from the US State Department, in a manner that is openly undermining the UN-brokered ceasefire agreement by working to ship arms to anti-Syrian government rebels via regional proxies like Saudi Arabia, Qatar and over the Iraqi border – means that Facebook is now involved in Washington’s Syrian regime change plans. Facebook is on record as being set-up as a massive spying grid by the NSA and the CIA, which means that it will routinely turn a blind eye to any of Washington’s mercenary Mujaheddin criminal acts taking place of their digital platform.

No longer confined to the shadows of covert ops, Washington announced this week that it will in fact supply arms to terrorist groups in Syria, claiming it will be ‘vetting’ its arms supply lines to the Free Syria Army, a move that will almost certainly increase the violence in that country. According the Daily Star in Lebanon today, “While some intelligence analysts worry that there may be no suitable recipients of lethal aid in the Syria conflict, the vetting plan has arisen as the least objectionable idea in a complicated situation”.

In addition, the social network is also being used to post staged killings as false flag events, designed to demonize the Syrian government security services, as well as similar fake videos of human rights violations – many of which are immediately taken up by major corporate media networks in the US and Europe.

Social networks have featured prominently in recent years, particularly Facebook and Twitter for helping to promote the Arab Spring in Tunsia, Egypt, Libya, and in Syria, and the western commentators and pundits have credited these websites as playing a pivotal role in spreading ‘freedom and democracy’ in these countries. In most cases, and as recent history has proven in Egypt, this importance has been grossly overstated and in many cases, overseas manipulation of social media English language traffic has provided the lion’s share for the ‘pro-democracy’ illusion once championed by the news services in the west. With the ousting of Egypt’s career dictator Mubarak, came a new full-blown, military dictatorship, currently clinging to power with the popular Islamist Muslim Brotherhood leadership waiting in the wings.

But people worldwide are now getting wise to the virtual political sphere and are becoming increasingly aware that western intelligence operatives are not only using the social networks to achieve various propaganda ends, but are also, perhaps knowingly, allowing certain terrorists and ‘informants’ to use  the social networks to terrorize western political enemies.

As Mark Zuckerberg and his financial insiders scramble to avoid prosecution in the wake of the social network’s recent pump-and-dump IPO debacle, the US mainstream media has conveniently ignored Facebook’s enabling of actual terrorism in the Middle East.

Even in the face of such openly violent and criminal use of its platform, micro-managers for the online platform will routinely action relatively harmless cyber-bullying complaints against elementary school children, and in some cases, see actual US law enforcement involved in making arrests over virtual slurs. In most cases, the offending account holders will have their accounts suspended, or deleted for trivial events.

This latest disturbing news from Syria should not only highlight the hypocrisy of Facebook’s big brother censors, but it should also suggest the obvious link the company has to the highest echelons of the US Federal Government and its alphabet soup intelligence agencies.

We know Facebook’s policy on domestic censorship and trivial cyber-bullying, but what is Facebook’s public policy on al-Qaida using its international platform for terror?

Zuckerberg, we are waiting.

Al-Qaeda Rebel Pictured With UN Observers In Syria

A photo published by French news agency AFP shows a Syrian rebel wearing the Al-Qaeda flag on his arm accompanying UN observers in the village of Azzara, again underscoring the fact that NATO powers are backing terrorists in their bid to topple President Bashar Al-Assad.

The photo appears on the DayLife website with the caption, “A man wearing a black shirt bearing an Al-Qaeda flag (L) speaks with a UN observer as monitors meet with rebels and civilians in the village of Azzara in the province of Homs on May 4, 2012.”

Another Syrian source informed us that the man seen in the image is definitely a foreigner and does not look Syrian.

This is just one of many examples where Syrian rebel fighters and their supporters have openly displayed their identity as Al-Qaeda terrorist sympathizers, begging the question of why the United States and other NATO powers are fighting for the same cause as the group against whom they are supposedly engaged in a global war on terror.

After NATO-backed insurgents with links to Al-Qaeda helped topple Colonel Gaddafi in Libya, they proudly flew the distinctive black Al-Qaeda flag over courthouses in Benghazi and other centers of power.

Now some of the very same rebels, airlifted into Syria by NATO, are once again making it clear that they see the end of Assad’s regime as the next stage of their jihad.

Is it any surprise that Syrian “opposition” forces are now also rallying around the Al-Qaeda flag just as they did in Libya given that Hillary Clinton admitted in a BBC News interview that the US and Al-Qaeda were on the same side in Syria?

This video shows Syrian “activists” flying the Al-Qaeda flag during an anti-Assad protest in the northern Syrian town of Binnish.

In another clip, armed Syrian rebels address the camera standing behind a table draped with the black Al-Qaeda flag.

Meanwhile, a separate video clip leaked to the pro-Assad Truth Syria You Tube channel purports to show an anti-regime rebel being transported by UN observers in trucks bearing the distinctive UN text.

According to the transcript accompanying the video, the “terrorist” traveling in the vehicle is allowed to conduct reconnaissance on where government checkpoints are located for the purpose of planning future attacks.

At the end of the clip, the men in the UN vehicle break out in a spontaneous chant of “Allahu Akbar,” a phrase widely associated with fundamentalist Muslims who are engaged in jihad.

The fact that rebels are being transported by UN observers who are supposed to remain impartial is obviously a damning sign that the UN mission represents little more than a furtherance of the effort to destabilize Assad’s government.

Back in March, leaked emails revealed that the Pentagon is planning to direct terror attacks and assassinations inside Syria in a bid to topple President Bashar al-Assad.

With these attacks now intensifying in brutality, and with their perpetrators openly proclaiming their Al-Qaeda sympathies, NATO’s hubris about “humanitarian corridors” and the United Nations’ rhetoric about “responsibility to protect” has never looked more ridiculous.

Watch the clip below.

Israel Prepares for War

Israel’s IDF has called up six reserve battalions as the situation on the Syrian and Egyptian borders deteriorates. The Knesset, the Israeli parliament, has given permission to call up an additional 16 reserve battalions if necessary, the Times of Israel reported on May 2.

“This signifies that the IDF regards the Egyptian and Syrian borders as the potential source of a greater threat than in the past,” said former deputy chief of staff, Dan Harel.

“The army needs a better ‘answer’ than in the past to the threat,” he added, mentioning Egypt’s loss of control over the Sinai.

The Egyptian daily al-Arabiya reports that since the end of January police located at Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula have been attacked approximately 50 times by armed Palestinian groups and what is described as a local branch of al-Qaeda.

Sheikh Zuwayed, central Sinai and Rafah are now out of control of the Egyptian military, according to Egypt’s al-Masry al-Youm. Most of the attacks have occurred in the mountains of central Sinai and were carried out by Palestinian armed groups including Jaljalat, Army of Islam, Ezz Eddin al-Qassam Brigades and al-Qaeda in the Sinai Peninsula.

“Sinai is now out of security control, and efforts exerted by the military and police forces have aimed to restore security, especially because a week ago Israel said Egypt is more dangerous to Israel than Iran, which the Jewish state accuses of trying to build nuclear weapons,” the security source told al-Masr al-Youm.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula is now a “kind of Wild West” for militants opposed to the Jewish state. Netanyahu and the Israeli government have accused Iran of aiding and abetting the unrest in the Sinai.

Despite Israel’s assertion that militants pose a threat in the Sinai, the real threat is between Israel and the military government in Egypt.

In April, Obama, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton received intelligence that Egypt and Israel are close to war, according to DEBKAfile.

Strife inside Syria has caused tension along the border near the Golan Heights, territory Israel captured from Syria during the 1967 war.

Israel has also started to fortify a wall on the border with Lebanon. Israeli military officials told the Wall Street Journal that the construction was coordinated with the Lebanese army and the U.N. peacekeeping force in the region, UNIFIL.

Israel and Lebanon have been in a state of war for more than fifty years and do not share diplomatic relations.

In early April, Haaretz reported that the Israeli military was planning another invasion of Lebanon. “Almost six years after the Second Lebanon War, special Israeli units are preparing to take part in mass incursions into Lebanon if another round of fighting with Hezbollah breaks out,” the newspaper reported.

According to Human Rights Watch, the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 2006 resulted in at least 1,109 Lebanese deaths, the vast majority of whom were civilians. 4,399 were injured and an estimated 1 million were displaced during the invasion and fighting between the IDF and Hezbollah.

In the past, Israel has used border provocations to initiate military action against its Arab neighbors.

In the 1950s, Israel launched attacks inside Jordan and Syria in an effort to “provoke the Egyptians into retaliating against Israel – thus precipitating an Israeli-Egyptian war,” according to Israeli journalist Benny Morris (see Baylis Thomas, The Dark Side of Zionism: Israel’s Quest for Security Through Dominance).

Bilderberg Favorite Rubio Calls For Attacking Iran & Syria

Florida Senator cements his place as a neo-con poster child

Paul Joseph Watson
Infowars.com
Thursday, April 26, 2012

Bilderberg Group elitists who are considering Marco Rubio to become Mitt Romney’s running mate were probably enamored by Rubio’s “foreign policy chops” during a Brookings Institution speech yesterday in which the Florida Senator cemented his place as a neo-con poster child by calling for a US-led military assault on Iran and Syria.

Speaking of Iran, Rubio stated, “We should also be preparing our allies, and the world, for the reality that unfortunately, if all else fails, preventing a nuclear Iran may, tragically, require a military solution.”

He also said that Syria should become a target for “American leadership,” in the context of ignoring UN mandates and sending in American troops to directly help rebel fighters who, as we have documented, are being directed by Al-Qaeda terrorists.

“You need the center of gravity to instigate this coalition (supporting opposition groups in Syria) and move forward with a defined plan,” said Rubio. “In the absence of American power and American influence and American leadership, it’s hard to do that.”

Rubio’s zeal for committing the United States to yet more unaffordable and pointless wars is likely to get him in the good books of the Bilderberg Group. It also went down well with the Brookings Institution, an establishment think tank that openly admits in its own memos that the “responsibility to protect” humanitarian ruse is merely a crude pretext for long-planned regime change in Syria.

The Telegraph’s Tim Stanley points out that Rubio is basically firming up his spot as a poster child for neoconservatives who are petrified at the fact that Ron Paul and Rand Paul have brought a large percentage of the Republican Party back to its non-interventionist roots.

“It’s hard not to be troubled by Rubio’s all-encompassing vision of American hegemony,” he writes. “Especially if you’re not American. Another quote: “What happens all over the world is our business. Every aspect of [our] lives is directly impacted by global events. The security of our cities is connected to the security of small hamlets in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia.”

“Apparently, if some goatherd in the mountains of Afghanistan loses one of his flock to a landmine, the consequences for Topeka, Kansas could be terrible. The absurdity of the theory that literally every security problem in the world is a direct threat to the United States is but one example of Rubio’s naïveté. In his vision, America never makes mistakes and everyone loves it. Small nations regard the US as their protector against bigger nations, whose wickedness is irrational.”

During his speech, Rubio also took time to praise the ridiculously contrived ‘Kony 2012′ fad, which as we vehemently documented at the time was nothing less than an effort to grease the skids for the U.S. military invasion of Africa.

“So Rubio is campaigning for the vice president slot in the Republican Party by promising to embroil our country in two major Middle East wars, and moreover to do so without the backing of international law,” writes Juan Cole. “But this step is precisely the mistake George W. Bush made in Iraq, and it meant that the US was mostly on its own in fighting, dying and paying for that war. Syria is 2/3s the size of Iraq, and Iran is 3 times more populous, so Rubio is committing us not only to bear more thousands of war dead and badly wounded but also to spend trillions in distant Middle Eastern deserts.”

As we reported earlier this month, a story by veteran Washington Post columnist Al Kamen explained how Rubio was looking to “boost his foreign-policy chops” by following around the likes of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton to international summits as a means of building his internationalist credibility.

Kamen more than subtly suggested that Rubio could be a favorite of the Bilderberg Group, which he described as “uber-secret global power brokers”, a collection of financiers, politicians, CEOs, academia and media bigwigs, who routinely have an influence on the U.S. presidential election, picking Barack Obama’s VP in 2008 and John Kerry’s running mate in 2004.

Earlier this week, Rubio hit the campaign trail with Romney, described by observers as appearing like “a running mate audition,” just days after making a Freudian slip when he told a forum, “Three, four, five, six, seven years from now, if I do a good job as vice president — I’m sorry, as senator — I’ll have the chance to do all sorts of things.”

Bilderberg’s influence on U.S. presidential elections is well documented. During the June 2008 Bilderberg meeting in Northern Virginia, the press lost track of the whereabouts of both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Reports subsequently suggested that the two had got together for a “private meeting” in Northern Virginia, which almost certainly meant they had both attended that year’s Bilderberg confab.

Veteran Bilderberg sleuth Jim Tucker yesterday confirmed that our report earlier this week that Bilderberg are almost certain meet at the Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles hotel in Chantilly, Virginia from May 31st to June 3rd.

Russian warships heading for Syria: Russian military source

A high-ranking source in the Russian defense ministry says several Russian warships are on their way to the Mediterranean Sea to guard Syrian coasts for the foreseeable future.

“A decision has been made to deploy Russian warships near the Syrian shores on a permanent basis,” the state-run RIA news agency quoted the source as saying on Friday.

The source added that the Russian destroyer Smetlivy, which is patrolling waters off Syria now, will be replaced by another warship from Black Sea Fleet in May.

The official says several warships are on their way to the Mediterranean.

In January, a large Russian navy flotilla led by an aircraft carrier arrived at the Syrian port of Tartus in the Mediterranean to show Moscow’s solidarity with Damascus.

Russia has voiced support for Syria against continued pressure from Western countries and some Arab states to destabilize the crisis-hit Middle Eastern country and topple the government of President Bashar al-Assad.

Moscow says Syria’s crisis should be solved through negotiations, rejecting military intervention to end the unrest.

Russia, Iran set to counter US/Israeli strike against Iran. US-led naval drill

DEBKAfile
April 3, 2012

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov issued a strong warning against a military attack on Iran Monday, April 2,, saying that a pre-emptive strike would violate international law. His comments, made during a visit to Armenia, stopped short of threatening (the US and/or Israel) of consequences. But they backed up and were in tune with the explicit threat from Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei last Thursday of strong Iranian resistance to foreign intervention in Syria and vow to defend Damascus as the “center of resistance against Israel.”

Western military observers link the two statements as representing an evolving Russian-Iranian front. After their shared success in delivering Bashar Assad from the revolt against his regime, the two partners are preparing to fend off a potential strike against Tehran’s nuclear program as well as shore up Iran’s regional interests from the Persian Gulf to the Mediterranean. They are getting set to counter two US-led steps, disclosed here byDEBKAfile:

1. Although the US-backed Friends of Syria 2, which took place Sunday, April 1, in Istanbul, offered the Syrian Free Army no direct assistance or support, Saudi Arabia and Qatar established an international fund to pay rebel fighters a regular wage. They hope to lure more officers and men into defecting from the army units loyal to Assad.
Moscow and Tehran view this step as Arab intervention in the Syrian conflict.

2. The US, Israel and Greece launched a shadowy air-naval exercise in the Mediterranean Thursday, March 29. Codenamed “Noble Dina,” it appears to range across a broad sweep of sea up to Crete and including the waters off Turkey, Cyprus, and Israel Navy bases in Haifa and Ashdod ports.

Obama’s Child Soldiers

Kurt Nimmo Infowars.com March 27, 2012

Here’s a cause for Angelina Jolie – the Syrian opposition’s child soldiers.

From Reuters today:

Syrian rebels fighting to oust President Bashar al-Assad have been accused of using children as fighters in violation of international conventions banning the recruitment of child soldiers, a senior U.N. official said on Monday.

Syrian opposition run by the CIA, Mossad and Blackwater.

The accusation follows the trial of Congolese warlord Thomas Lubanga Dyilo for the same thing. He was hauled before the United Nations court at The Hague and convicted of war crimes. A film produced about the child soldiers of renegade African warlord Joseph Kony received attention at the same time the UN convicted Lubanga Dyilo.

The group responsible for the film, Invisible Children, has since been exposed as a globalist NGO tool in a propaganda campaign coinciding with the Pentagon’s move into strategic and mineral-rich regions of Africa.

In addition to using child soldiers, the Syrian opposition is accused of having “kidnapped, tortured and executed members of supporters of Assad and members of his security forces” and repeating the now predictable pattern established in Libya.

Like Libya’s rebels, the Free Syrian Army is overrun by al-Qaeda operatives. The CIA, Mossad and Blackwater are calling the shots. This was spelled out in an Arab League report on the conflict.

Obama has pledged “non-lethal” assistance to the Free Syrian Army. “US officials said that the delivery of aid to rebel militias would dominate the agenda when the ‘Friends of Syria’, a coalition of Western and Arab powers opposed to Mr Assad, meet in Istanbul next Sunday,” the Telegraph explained on Sunday.

In other words, Obama – like Dyilo and Kony – is committing a war crime. He is facilitating behavior determined to be criminal and punishable by the international court run by his globalist masters.

1001 Moonless Kinetic Nights: Presenting The Windows Of Opportunity For An Iranian Attack

Zero Hedge
Thursday, March 22, 2012

Following last Friday’s majority vote by the Israel Security Council authorizing Iranian “action” when required, answering the “if“, the only open question remains “when.” As it turns out, based on the following analysis by Rapidan Group, there are only 10 or so distinct 10 day New Moon windows for the remainder of 2012. If one removes the sandstorm prone months of April, July and September, there are 7 periods in which a military strike is realistic. Also CVN 65 is moving at a snail’s pace and is just now approaching the Straits of Gibraltar.  Since any action will likely not take place unless 3 aircraft carriers are in the vicinity, and because the ICE yesterday instituted ultra-short term trading spike curbs in crude, starting April 1, one can likely eliminate the immediately proximal March 17-27 window. Which leaves six. Our advice would be to buy up OTM calls in Brent in the days just ahead of the start of any such window, as any “surprise” attack will have a uplifting impact on all combustible assets, doubly so for levered ones.

From Rapidan Group

Timing Considerations

Based on press reports, officials see high odds of an attack sometime between 2Q12 and the end of the year, with most pointing to 2Q or 3Q.

If Israel elects to conduct a conventional military strike, the optimal conditions would be moonless and cloudless nights. “Operation Orchard,” Israel’s attack on Syria’s reactor at Al-Kibar on Sep 6, 2007, took place 5 days before the new moon. This suggests windows starting about 5 days before a new moon and ending five days after – see the table below. Low humidity is also ideal, but not required.

Attackers would want to avoid sandstorms, which have afflicted Iran in April, July, and September in recent years. Last year, a large sandstorm in mid-April hit 20 provinces, forcing the shutdown of schools and businesses. Sandstorms are visible and predictable, however, and would be taken into account by planners.

For non-kinetic options, climate is not a consideration to our knowledge. Presumably, they would be tried before kinetic ones and only after leaders were convinced Iran had not yet felt enough pain to compel it to freeze enrichment.

And here is the latest naval update from Stratfor. Keep your eye on CVN 65. It should be well inside the Mediterranean within a few days.

Stratfor Emails: US Government Contractor Was Involved In Gaddafi Killing

Government “fact finding mission” used as cover for training terrorist fighters

Steve Watson
Pressforactivism.com
March 20, 2012

Emails obtained from intelligence gathering outfit Stratfor and leaked by Wikileaks show that a former director of Blackwater, the US mercenary contractor organization, was sent by the US government to fight alongside rebels in Libya, and was even involved in the killing of Muammar Gaddafi.

In addition, a US government committee has now overseen the mercenary’s assignment to Syria where he is tasked with protecting rebel fighters and finding ways to “help in regime change.”

Al-Akhbar English reports on the email stash leaked by Wikileaks, that shows former Blackwater director Jamie F. Smith struck up a rapport with Stratfor vice president Fred Burton.

Smith, now the chief executive of the security firm SCG International, was contracted by the US government to protect Libyan National Transitional Council (NTC) members and train Libyan rebel fighters following the announcement of the NATO no-fly zone over Libya one year ago.

Smith fed intelligence back to Stratfor under the codename LY700, and was even apparently involved in the assassination of the former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi in the town of Sirte.

In one email exchange, Burton praised Smith’s intelligence gathering efforts writing “Good skinny. This is what is defined as a credible source. Not some windbag Paki academic belching and passing gas.”

Smith continued to pass intelligence to Stratfor right up until the outfit’s email servers were hacked in December.

The final mention of Smith was on December 13 in a series of emails, including one in which Burton noted:

“**Source and Dr. Walid Phares are getting air cover from Congresswoman [Sue] Myrick to engage Syrian opposition in Turkey (non-MB and non-Qatari) on a fact finding mission for Congress.

** The true mission is how they can help in regime change.

** Source intends to offer his services to help protect the opposition members, like he had underway in Libya.”

Al-Akhbar English points out that Walid Phares is a Lebanese-American citizen who is currently co-chair of Mitt Romney’s Middle East advisory group. He also has a history of ties to right wing militias during the Lebanese civil war.

Sue Myrick, also mentioned in the email, is a Republican Congresswoman from North Carolina who has a track record of extremist pro-zionist and anti-Islamic views.

In another stratfor email dated December 13, Burton notes that Smith “is meeting w/specific people described as key leaders.” in Syria.

Other leaked stratfor emails have confirmed that Special Operations Forces from numerous countries have been on the ground in Syria as of December, and are ready to facilitate regime change.

During the conflict in Libya it was extensively reported in the alternative media that the US government was covertly involved in training and equipping Libyan fighters, many of whom were connected to Al Qaeda affiliated terrorist groups.

Rebel forces in Libya were directed by Abdulhakim Belhadj, former leader of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), which is designated as a terrorist organization by the US State Department. Libyan rebel leader Abdel-Hakim al-Hasidi admitted that Belhadj’s LIFG fighters were the second-largest cohort of foreign fighters in Iraq, responsible for killing U.S. troops.

Once the terrorist-led rebels executed Colonel Gaddafi, they proudly flew the distinctive black Al-Qaeda flag over courthouses in Benghazi and other centers of power. On the orders of Belhadj, the puppet National Transitional Council then announced that Sharia law would be reinstated.

Libyan rebels have since imposed a reign of terror over the country, incarcerating and torturing black people and anyone suspected of supporting Gaddafi in concentration camps and cages.

These same terrorists were subsequently airlifted into Syria to fight NATO’s proxy war against President Bashar Al-Assad. Hillary Clinton admitted in a BBC News interview that the US and Al-Qaeda were on the same side in Syria.

Is it any surprise that Syrian “opposition” forces are now also rallying around the Al-Qaeda flag just as they did in Libya?

All the evidence points to the fact that western governments who are supposed to be engaged in a ‘war on terror’ against radical Muslim terrorists are handing those very same terrorists control over entire countries in the middle east and North Africa.

The establishment media, just as they did in Libya, continues to describe terrorists who fight under the Al-Qaeda flag as “activists”.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon preparing to support these Al-Qaeda terrorists by launching “guerrilla attacks” and “assassination campaigns” inside Syria to topple Assad’s government.

Why Is The US And NATO Backing Extremist Muslim Terrorists?

A shocking video appears to show Libyan rebels desecrating Christian and Jewish graves at a cemetery, further evidence that the same forces who helped NATO overthrow Gaddafi and are now carrying out attacks in Syria are extremist Muslims who care little for ‘freedom’ or ‘democracy’.

The clip shows Libyan rebels breaking apart headstones while shouting “Allahu Akbar”. The men later try to smash up a large Christian cross statue with sledgehammers.

This kind of behavior is par for the course given the fact that the western-backed regime change in Libya was achieved with the aid of Al-Qaeda terrorists who had previously fought against U.S. troops in Iraq.

Libyan rebels have since imposed a reign of terror over the country, incarcerating and torturing blacks and anyone suspected of supporting Gaddafi in concentration camps and cages.

This video shows Syrian “activists” flying the Al-Qaeda flag during an anti-Assad protest in the northern Syrian town of Binnish.

In another clip, armed Syrian rebels address the camera standing behind a table draped with the black Al-Qaeda flag.

Why are western governments who are supposed to be engaged in a ‘war on terror’ against radical Muslim terrorists handing those very same terrorists control over entire countries?

Why is the establishment media, just as they did in Libya, describing rebels who fight under the Al-Qaeda flag, as “activists”?

Why are NATO powers like France and America arming radical Muslims who identify themselves as Al-Qaeda terrorists with anti-aircraft missiles?

Why is Senator John McCain calling for the United States to bomb Syria in support of Al-Qaeda terrorists?

Why is the Pentagon preparing to support these Al-Qaeda terrorists by launching “guerrilla attacks” and “assassination campaigns” inside Syria to topple Assad’s government?

NATO Invasion Of Syria Set For This Month?

NATO powers arm Al-Qaeda in pursuit of regime change

NATO member Turkey is arming Al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups as part of the international community’s efforts to help Syrian rebels overthrow President Bashar al-Assad, with a possible military invasion set for March, almost exactly a year after a virtually identical assault on Libya that was also achieved with the aid of Al-Qaeda terrorists.

Egyptian security officials told World Net Daily that, “Turkey has been arming al-Qaida and its affiliated group, Jihadiya Salafia, as part of efforts to support the so-called rebels in Syria.”

The officials also revealed that arms and training for the rebels is being provided by the United States, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, dovetailing with former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds’ report that hundreds of NATO and US troops arrived on the Jordanian and Syrian border back in December for the purpose of training militants to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad.

“Several knowledgeable Egyptian and Arab security officials claimed the U.S., Turkey and Jordan were running a training base for the Syrian rebels in the Jordanian town of Safawi in the country’s northern desert region,” states the WND report.

A March NATO bombardment of Syria, euphemistically termed a “no fly zone” by the mainstream media, would mirror almost precisely the timing and circumstances of the attack on Libya a year ago, which first came under assault on March 19, 2011, after NATO powers had spent weeks arming and directing Al-Qaeda-affiliated rebels.

“According to the Middle Eastern diplomatic and security officials speaking to WND, the international community is considering launching NATO air strikes on Assad’s forces as soon as this month if the opposition does not make major strides toward ending Assad’s regime,” states the report,.

Turkey’s involvement in arming terrorist groups to aid rebel fighters follows reports that France and the United States have provided the Free Syria Army with weapons and anti-aircraft missiles.

As we reported last week, during a BBC interview U.S. Secretary of State admitted that the United States and Al-Qaeda were on the same side when it came to achieving regime change in Syria.

Just as in Libya, where the overthrow of Gaddafi was achieved through the use of Al-Qaeda groups, NATO and the United States are once again turning to terrorists as a means of achieving their geopolitical objectives in the region.

Indeed, as we reported back in November, some of the same Al-Qaeda terrorists who fought U.S. troops in Iraq were airlifted into Syria to aid rebels. Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri’s has also publicly expressed support for Syrian rebel forces.

A UN report found that the invasion of Libya led to a huge number of weapons finding their way into the hands of Al-Qaeda groups in North Africa. Those weapons are now being used to carry out bombing attacks against Syrian government targets, even as the mainstream media still refuses to acknowledge, as the Arab League report made clear, that there is indiscriminate violence occurring on both sides.

The corporate press has dutifully echoed the official talking point that only Assad’s forces are responsible for violence against “innocent demonstrators,” even as those “demonstrators” are seen firing rocket-propelled grenades, while showcasing dubious “activists” like ‘Syria Danny’ who are given ample time by the likes of CNN to beg for a US-led military invasion.

Hillary Clinton Admits US and Al-Qaeda On Same Side in Syria

US and France arm rebels with anti-aircraft missiles

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has admitted that Al-Qaeda and other groups on the State Department’s terror list are on the same side as the United States in Syria and that they are aiding opposition rebels.

In an interview with BBC News (watch video), Clinton states, “We have a very dangerous set of actors in the region, Al-Qaeda, Hamas, and those who are on our terrorist list, to be sure, supporting – claiming to support the opposition [in Syria].”

Clinton’s admission that Al-Qaeda is supporting the armed insurrection in Syria dovetails with reports that the same Al-Qaeda terrorists who helped overthrow Colonel Gaddafi in Libya were airlifted into Syria by NATO forces.

Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri’s has also publicly expressed support for Syrian rebel forces.

These terrorists have been blamed for bloody attacks that have killed both Syrian regime officials and innocent civilians, including a bombing earlier this month in Syria’s second city of Aleppo which killed 28 people.

The recent Arab League report, which was almost universally ignored by the mainstream media, also concluded that both sides of the conflict were responsible for indiscriminate violence and that terrorist groups were helping the rebels carry out attacks.

Despite the admission that terrorists are aiding opposition forces in Syria, the establishment media has attempted to pour cold water on the issue, primarily through mouthpieces like ‘Syria Danny’ – an “activist” who has been afforded ample time by the corporate press to beg for a military invasion.

“It is richly ironic that the unelected fundamentalist Sunni regimes of the Persian Gulf are supporting Al Qaeda affiliated groups within Syria purportedly to “bring about democratic reforms,” writes Professor Michel Chossudovsky. “This is the same dynamic that prevailed in Libya where the overthrow of that country’s government by Western and Gulf Arab powers has now led to a collapse in human rights and social conditions.”

Despite claims to the contrary, a general in the Free Syria Army, the opposition militia, has told journalists that the rebels are being armed with anti-aircraft missiles by the United States and France.

“In Homs on Tuesday, a general claiming to be from the rebel group appeared on camera and told a journalist from Reuters news agency that “French and American assistance has reached us and is with us.” When asked to elaborate on the nature of the assistance he added, “We now have weapons and anti-aircraft missiles and, God willing, with all of that we will defeat Bashar [President Assad],” reports RT.

Former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds also reported that US troops landed on the Jordanian and Syrian border back in December for the purpose of training militants to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad.

It was also revealed earlier this month that British Special Forces are already on the ground in Syria advising and directing the rebel army.

The Plan to Destabilize Syria

Thierry Meyssan
Global Research,
June 24, 2011

The efforts to overthrow the Syrian government have a lot in common with what has been undertaken in Libya. However, the results are substantially different owing to each country’s social and political background. The project to break up these two States simultaneously was initially brought up by John Bolton on 6 May 2002 when he was serving as Undersecretary of State in the Bush administration. It’s implementation by the Obama administration nine years down the line – in the context of the Arab Awakening – is not without problems.

Like in Libya, the original plan intended to bring about a military coup, but it soon proved impossible owing to the lack of willing Syrian military officers. According to our sources, an analogous plan had also been envisaged for Lebanon. In Libya, the plot was leaked and Colonel Gaddafi proceeded to have Colonel Abdallah Gehani arrested [1]. In any case, the initial plan had to be revised in light of the unexpected “Arab Spring” scenario.

Military action

The central idea was to foment unrest in a well circumscribed area and to proclaim the establishment of an Islamic emirate that would serve as a platform for the dismemberment of the country. The choice of the Daraa district can be explained by its proximity to the Jordanian border and the Israeli occupied Golan Heights. This layout would make it easy to funnel supplies to the secessionists.

An incident was contrived involving students who engaged in provocations. It succeeded beyond all expectations given the brutality and stupidity of the local governor and police chief. When the demonstrations started, snipers were positioned on the roofs to shoot at random into the crowd and against the police forces. A similar script had been used in Benghazi to fuel the revolt.

Other clashes were planned, invariably in a border area to secure a support base, first in Northern Lebanon, then on the border with Turkey.

The skirmishes were led by small commandos, mostly made up of some forty men, combining individuals recruited on the spot with foreign mercenary overseers belonging to Saudi Prince Bandar bin Sultan’s network. Bandar travelled to Jordan where he supervised the kick off of operations, together with CIA and Mossad officials.

But Syria is not Libya and the outcome was reversed. Indeed, whereas Libya is a state that was created by the colonial powers which united Tripolitania, Cyrenaica and Fezzan by force, Syria is a historical country which was reduced to its simplest form by those same powers. Therefore, while Libya is spontaneously at the mercy of centrifugal forces, Syria attracts centripetal forces bent on reconstructing Greater Syria (comprising Jordan, occupied Palestine, Lebanon, Cyprus and part of Iraq). Syria’s population today cannot but repudiate any plan to partition the country.

Also, a parallel can be made between Colonel Gaddafi’s authority and that of Hafez al-Assad (Bashar’s father). They rose to power during the same period and both made use of their intelligence and brutality to hold sway. Bashar al-Assad, on the contrary, did not seize power nor did he expect to inherit it. He accepted to fill the office of president when his father died because his older brother had perished in an accident and because only his family heritage could have prevented a power struggle among his father’s generals.

Although it was the army who went to look for him in London, where he was quietly practicing his profession as an ophthalmologist, it is his people who be-knighted him. He is undeniably the most popular political leader in the Middle East. Up to two months ago, he was also the only one who moved around without armed guards, and felt comfortable in a crowd.

The military operation to destabilize Syria and the propaganda campaign that came with it have been orchestrated by a coalition of states under US coordination, in exactly the same way that NATO coordinates its member and non-member states to bombard and stigmatize Libya. As indicated above, the mercenary forces have been provided with the compliments of Prince Bandar bin Sultan, who was forced to knock on several doors, including in Pakistan and Malaysia, seeking to boost his personal army deployed in Manama and Tripoli. As an example, we can cite the installation of anad hoc telecommunications center on the premises of the Ministry of Telecommunications in Lebanon.

Far from arousing the population against the “regime“, this blood bath triggered a national outpouring for President Bashar al-Assad. Aware that they are being drawn into a civil war by design, the Syrians are standing shoulder to shoulder. The overall number of anti-government protest rallies garnered between 150 000 and 200 000 people out of a population of 22 million inhabitants. By contrast, the pro-government drew crowds the likes of which the country had never seen before.

The authorities reacted with calm in the face of such events. The President finally enacted the reforms that had been on his agenda for a long time, but which the majority of the population had resisted for fear they might westernize their society. Anxious not to fall into archaism, the Ba’ath Party has embraced a multiparty system. The army did not crackdown on the demonstrators – contrary to what the Western and Saudi media have reported – but reined in the armed groups. Unfortunately, the high-ranking military officers, most of whom were trained in the USSR, failed to practice any restraint towards the civilians who were caught in the middle.

The economic war

At that point, the Western-Saudi strategy needed to be revised. Realizing that military action would fall short of plunging the country into chaos in the near term, Washington decided to undermine Syrian society in the middle term. The rationale is that the policies of the Al-Assad government have been forging a middle class (the true mainstay of a democracy) and that it would be feasible to turn this class against him. In that case, an economic collapse of the country would have to be engineered.

Now, Syria’s main resource is oil, even if its production cannot compare in volume with that of its rich neighbors. To market the oil, Syria must have assets deposited in Western banks to serve as guarantee during the transactions. It would be enough to freeze them in order to pull the country down. Hence, the expediency of tarnishing its image to mold western public opinion into accepting the “sanctions against the regime.”

In principle, an asset freeze requires a resolution by the UN Security Council, which appears problematic. China, for one, may not be in a position to oppose it since it has already been blackmailed to renounce its veto power in the Libyan context under threat of losing access to Saudi oil. But Russia could do it, without which it would lose its naval base in the Mediterranean would have to keep its Black Sea cooped up behind the Dardanelles. The Pentagon has already attempted to intimidate Russia by deploying its guided-missile cruiser, the USS Monterrey, in the Black Sea to underscore the futility of Russia’s naval ambitions.

Be that as it may, the Obama administration may decide to revive the 2003 Syrian Accountability Act allowing it to freeze Syrian assets independently of a UN resolution or Congress approval. Recent history has shown, especially as regards Cuba and Iran, that Washington can easily convince its European partners to endorse sanctions that it applies unilaterally.

Thus, the stakes have currently shifted from the battle field towards the media. Public opinion will allow the wool to be pulled over its eyes all the more given its ignorance of Syria and its blind faith in the new technologies.

The media war

At first, the propaganda campaign focused the public’s attention on the crimes allegedly committed by the “regime” so as to avert any questions regarding the nature of the new opposition. In fact, these armed groups have little in common with the intellectual dissidents that drafted theDamascus Declaration. They emerge from Sunni religious extremist circles. These fanatics repudiate the religious pluralism of the Levant and long for a state to their image and likeness. They don’t challenge President Bashar Al-Assad because they deem he is too authoritarian, but because he is anAlawi, that is a heretic in their eyes.

Ever since, the anti-Bashar propaganda has been based on a reality reversal.

An amusing example is the case of the blog “Gay Girl in Damascus“, created on 21 February 2011. Edited in English by 25 year-old Amina, the website became a source of reference for Western media. Therein the author described the plight of a young lesbian under Bashar’s dictatorship and the day-to-day unfolding of the terrible repression unleashed against the revolution. As a gay woman, she garnered the protective empathy of Western web surfers who mobilized as soon as her arrest by the secret services of the “regime” was announced.

However, as it happened, Amina was a fiction. Betrayed by his IP address, a US 40 year-old “student” was discovered to be the real author of this masquerade. This propagandist, who was allegedly preparing a PhD in Scotland, recently participated in a pro-Western opposition conference held in Turkey, urging for a NATO intervention. He quite obviously did not attend in his capacity as a student [2].

What is particularly surprising is not so much the gullibility of the internet surfers who swallowed the lies about the fake Amina, but the outpouring of the defenders of freedom in support of those who trample those same freedoms. In secular Syria, private life is sacrosanct and homosexuality, though prohibited by the texts, is not curbed. It may cause malaise within the family, but not in society. On the other hand, those who are upheld by the media as revolutionaries, and that we consider instead to be counter-revolutionaries, are vehemently homophobic. They are even contemplating the introduction of corporal punishment or, in some cases, the death penalty to punish that “vice.”

Reality reversal is a principle being applied on a large scale. We may recall the United Nations reports on the humanitarian crisis in Libya alleging that tens of thousands of immigrant workers were fleeing the country to escape from violence. The conclusion drawn and spewed by the Western media was that the Gaddafi “regime” had to be toppled in favor of the Benghazi rebels. And yet, it was not the government of Tripoli who was responsible for this tragedy, but the so-called revolutionaries in Cyrenaica who were hunting down black Africans. Stirred by a racist ideology, they accused them of being at the service of Colonel Gaddafi and lynched whoever they could get their hands on.

In Syria, the images of armed groups perched on the rooftops and firing at random into the crowd or on police forces were broadcast on national television networks. Yet, these same images were relayed and used by Western and Saudi television channels to attribute these crimes to the government of Damascus.

At the end of the day, the plan to destabilize Syria is not working all that well. It succeeded in persuading public opinion that the country is in the grips of a brutal dictatorship, but it also welded the vast majority of the Syrian population firmly behind its government. Ultimately, the plan could backfire on those who masterminded it, notably Tel Aviv. In January-February 2011 we witnessed a revolutionary wave in the Arab world, followed in April-May by a counter-revolutionary wave. The swing of the pendulum is still in motion.
