The UN Arms Trade Treaty that has been identified by observers as a flagrant threat to the second amendment and which Barack Obama is determined to sign has its roots in a 1961 State Department memorandum which explains how the United Nations will oversee “complete disarmament” of the American people under the ruse of preventing war. The UN Arms Treaty has caused so much controversy because it outlines a plan to target “all types of conventional weapons, notably including small arms and light weapons,” according to Forbes’ Larry Bell.
Former US Ambassador to the UN John Bolton also warns that the agreement “is trying to act as though this is really just a treaty about international arms trade between nation states, but there is no doubt that the real agenda here is domestic firearms control.”
A letter sent last month by 130 Republican House members to President Obama argued that the treaty should be rejected because it infringes on the “fundamental, individual right to keep and bear arms”. The letter adds that “…the U.N.’s actions to date indicate that the ATT is likely to pose significant threats to our national security, foreign policy, and economic interests as well as our constitutional rights.”
Using the rhetoric of the threat post by terrorists, insurgents and “international crime syndicates,” the UN is busy trying to imply that all weapons are somehow involved in illegal activity on a global scale and should therefore be controlled and regulated by a global authority.
This is precisely the same language used in a 1961 U.S. State Department briefing which outlined a long term agenda to carry out a “Program for General and Complete Disarmament in a Peaceful World.”
Invoking the threat of nuclear warfare, the document spells out a plan to create a “United Nations Peace Force” that would “enforce the peace as the disarmament process proceeds.”
While the document initially focuses on scrapping nuclear weapons, it later makes it clear that the only groups allowed to own weapons of any kind would be governing authorities, “for the purpose of maintaining internal order,” and the UN “peacekeeping” force itself, which would require “agreed manpower.”
“The manufacture of armaments would be prohibited except for those of agreed types and quantities to be used by the U.N. Peace Force and those required to maintain internal order. All other armaments would be destroyed or converted to peaceful purposes,” states the document. While the memorandum outlines a broader mandate to destroy national sovereignty, eviscerate national armies and institute the UN as the planet’s supreme authority with a world army, the document serves as a stark reminder that the plan for the United Nations to oversee the abolition of the second amendment has been in the works for decades.
As Bell points out in his Forbes article, the threat of the Obama administration relying on a UN treaty to do what successive administrations have tried but failed to accomplish — taking a huge bite out of the second amendment — is by no means far fetched.
After all, a plethora of UN treaties and international agreements have already stripped the United States of its sovereignty and its power to decide its own laws. The power to authorize U.S. involvement in wars and conflicts has now been almost completely stripped from Congress and handed to the United Nations.

The European Space Agency is set to green light a new surveillance satellite that will measure man-made carbon emissions from space in order to “hunt down” violators of international climate agreements, allowing Big Brother to enforce a future tax on CO2 emissions.

Labeled CarbonSat, the satellite system will have the ability to differentiate between natural carbon emissions and man-made CO2 releases. Earlier this month, the ESA announced that it had contracted space company Astrium to develop the satellite, which will be ready for deployment by 2017.

The Astrium press release announcing the project makes no mention of the fact that the satellite will be used to perform surveillance on individuals and businesses to keep tabs on their carbon footprint, instead presenting its role as merely measuring carbon emissions.

However, an interview with Astrium President Evert Dudok carried by a German climate alarmist website makes it clear that the technology will be used to spy on human activity from space and impose penalties for non-compliance with United Nations environmental treaties and regulations.

According to a translation by the prominent climate skeptic website No Tricks Zone, Dudok reveals that the primary function of the satellite will be to perform highly intrusive surveillance.

“The target is to hunt down environmental violators,” said Dudok, adding that the satellite will have the capability to detect methane as well as CO2, meaning farmers, whose activity is already policed by a network of spy satellites and drones, could face fines and taxes depending on the flatulence levels of their livestock.

“Knowledge of both of these gases is not only decisive for climate forecasts, but also for monitoring international climate treaties,” said Dudok, adding, “Up to now there has been no reliable way of monitoring the implementation of the Kyoto and Copenhagen treaties.”

In other words, the CarbonSat will be the enforcement arm of dictatorial UN climate mandates.

Dudok also explains that the satellite will be able to detect “emissions from cities” and “coal power plants,” greasing the skids for the enforcement of a tax on carbon emissions against both individuals and power companies, which in turn will drive up energy prices for consumers.

The CO2 Handel warmist website explains the true scope of the project in chilling terminology.

“Aerospace company Astrium is designing a new satellite for the European Space Agency (ESA) to be used for monitoring greenhouse gas occurrences. The new climate satellite will be able to detect greenhouse gases with an unprecedented spatial resolution: 2 x 2 kilometers. The European Space Agency wants to hunt down environmental and climate violators with its new satellite. Aerospace company Astrium will put together a feasibility study for the project by the end of 2013, according to company reports Thursday. If things move forward successfully, the mission – dubbed CarbonSat – could already begin as soon as 2017 and thus enable monitoring of international climate treaties.”

Given the fact that the global warming alarmist lobby has previously intimated that people who refuse to lower their carbon footprint should either be arrested and put on trial for war crimes, have their homes burned down, or simply liquidated in an orgy of blood and guts, the fact that sophisticated surveillance technology is being prepared to spy on ‘carbon criminals’ comes as no surprise.

P Gosselin points out that CarbonSat is a perfect reason for European countries to reject United Nations climate mandates.

“Now if anyone ever needed a compelling reason not to sign the treaty, this is it. Signatories will have to subject their territories to a constant invasion of privacy. Who knows what else they may want to monitor later on? Where does it end?” he asks.

Indeed, this represents the ultimate goal of green fascism, where cutting edge technology is used to oversee a scientific dictatorship in which every facet of human behavior is restricted and controlled. This is the first step towards the ‘Planned-Opolis’ society imagined by climate alarmist group Forum for the Future as illustrated in the terrifying video below.

Earth Summit 2012 Promoters Call For Implementation Of “Personal Carbon Quotas”

An organization calling itself “The Regeneration Project” calls for governments and NGO’s to create “personal carbon quotas, essentially making carbon a new form of currency for Individuals.”

In addition the group suggests “expanding the mandate of the UN Security Council to include environmental issues and security issues related to the environment” as well as “an International Court for the Environment (ICE) to settle disputes related to the environment and international environmental law.”

A global carbon policy, in other words, enforced by global carbon cops. Furthermore, the group advocates implementation of population stabilization policies at the earth summit to be held in Rio in June of this year.

In their manifest Bringing Rio Closer the organization, describing itself as a “collaborative and multi-facetted initiative by Globescan and SustainAbility”, proposes among other things that the UN mandates governments to execute their population reduction agenda:

“Securing commitments from governments to try to stabilize global population”, the document reads.

Stabilize the global population no less, and using the state (governments) as the enforcers of policies designed to achieve that goal. Here we have yet another example, which we document exhaustively, of key globalist players proposing far-reaching measures to exercise control over the masses. One of the ways of enforcing the agreed upon proposals is, what the Regeneration Project calls: “an International Court for the Environment (ICE) to settle disputes related to the environment and international environmental law.”

Another measure proposed by the Regeneration Project:

-Establishing a World Environment Organization (WEO);

This is quite a set of proposals issued by the group that would raise our eyebrows if the group was not co-sponsored by the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) and the World Bank. We have come to expect such things from these organizations. It was the World Bank which back in 1984 suggested (page eight) that “drastic steps” will be necessary if developing nations do not comply with their population control directives.

It was not the first time that the Regeneration Project sought to curb the human population. In their paper Unfinished Business the group advises governments to keep the population under a certain number, reminiscent of the Georgia Guidestones:

“(…) stabilizing population to not more than eight billion people”, the Unfinished Business report explains.

Leading up to the next UN’s “earth summit” we see an acceleration of calls for global population control and global government. We can expect to feel even more dark energy emanating from the scientific dictatorship in the weeks and months to come.
